Most people will judge you within the first seconds of meeting you and their opinion will most likely never change. Are you someone to approach or to avoid? Are you friend or foe? Do you have status and authority? Are you trustworthy, competent, likeable, confident?

Giving a bad first impression can make you lose the confidence of prospective clients, and even cost you business. The first impressions you give a client will set the tone for your future business relationship and show that you are professional and prepared.

Gigja Birgisdottir
With a passion for image and style and having worked as an international fashion model, Gigja decided to take the plunge and turn her passion into a business in 2012.

Gigja is a Certified Image Consultant from the London Image Institute, and the founder and manager of Gia in Style, Image Consulting Services.

Gigja has a BS degree in business administration, with emphasis on Marketing from San Diego State University in California. Prior to launching her image consulting business, she worked for over 15 years in the financial sector in Luxembourg.

In 1986, Gigja was elected Miss Iceland and for several years thereafter, worked as a fashion model in Iceland and internationally.

With the wide experience Gigja has attained over the years and with her passion for style and fashion, she is strongly motivated to build a career that not only gives her satisfaction, but also positively impacts the lives of others through the art of image, fashion and style.

Gigja speaks fluent Icelandic, English and French and has a basic knowledge of Luxembourgish.

Gigja is a member of the Federation of Image Consultants International.
